This list is bound to get you in the Halloween Spirit! There are so many amazing community events to enjoy around Columbus it will be hard to pick which ones to attend because I want to go to them ALL!!! Enjoy the spooky fun! 🙂

Dublin Spooktacular (Thursday, October 15 from 3:30 – 8:30 pm at the Dublin Community Rec Center) Kids come in costume for all kinds of fun!!! Trunk or treating, pictures with guests MICKEY and MINNIE MOUSE, food trucks, opportunities to build with Legos, The Turtle Lady, The Bug Man and other Halloween related crafts and activities.
Halloween Treat Trail Party at Everal Barn in Westerville (Friday, October 16 from 6:00-8:00 pm) Children 8 and under can enjoy carnival games, Halloween Bingo, a treat trail and more.
Creepy Halloween at Worthington Community Center (Friday, October 16 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm) The Bug Man will be the special guest at this event.
Halloween Pet Parade and Fall Festival at Easton Town Center (October 18 noon- 4:00 pm)
Spooktacular at the Depot (Sunday, October 18 1:00-5:00 pm) Free admission to this community event. Children travel around to different treat stations within the decorated train cars. (Old Henderson Road)
Creepside Gahanna (Wednesday, October 21 from 4:30 – 8:00 pm at the Creekside District) Join the fun at this event with a trick or treat trail, live bands, games, inflatables, haunted maze for teens, food vendors and more!
Grave Tales at the Dublin Library (Wednesday, October 21 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm) Meet at the Historic Graveyard in Dublin behind the library to listen to spooky storytelling.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Trick or Treat (Saturday, October 24 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm) *free with admission
Malloween at Tuttle Mall (Saturday, October 24 from 11am -3pm) Children can dress in costume and visit tables set up through out the mall for treats. Also enjoy live entertainment, games and see the Columbus Ghostbusters.
Children’s Halloween Extravaganza hosted by Rescued Ohio at Amberleigh Park Pavilion (Saturday, October 24 from 4:00-6:30 pm rain or shine) Halloween games, crafts, costume photo booth, trick or treat parade, dance and animals to adopt. There is a fee for children so be sure to click on the link for tickets.
All Hallow Eve’s at Ohio Village (Saturday, October 17 & 24 from 5:30-9:30 pm) *Must buy tickets* Creepy characters will be roaming the village, listen to a retelling of the Headless Horseman around the bonfire, and participate in old fashioned fun.
Halloween in the Hollow at Shale Hollow Preserve (Saturday, October 24 from 6:30-8:30 pm) Hike the trail, go on a scavenger hunt, sit around the fire and observe some spooky animals.
Trick-or Treat Trail at Gallant Farms (Sunday, October 25 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm) Children collect candy from different costumed characters as they walk along the Acorn Trail.
Halloween Costume Ball at the Hilliard Library (October 28 from 9:30 – 11:00 am) Children come dressed in costume to hear a story, sing songs, watch a puppet show and trick or treat around the library.
Preschoolers: Halloween Open House at Sharon Woods Metro Park (Friday, October 30 from 10 am – 2 pm) Come in costume for games, crafts and other activities.
Pumpkin Parade at Old Worthington Library Meeting Room (October 30 at 10 am) Children come dressed in costumes to listen to a story, sing songs, dance and parade around the library.
Halloweenie Campfire at Blacklick Woods (October 30th at 7:00 pm) Hear myths about animals as you sit around a campfire.
HalleBOOia at The Ohio State University School of Music- Weigel Auditorum (October 30th 8:00 pm)
Haunted Garden at Northwest Library Meeting Room and Indoor Garden (October 31 from 10:00 – 11:30 am) Children come dressed in costume for fall-themed activities.
Scarysville: Uptown Trick-or-Treat in Marysville (October 31 from 10 am -12:00 pm)
Trick or Treat in Historic Dublin (October 31 1:00-4:00 pm) Pick up your map at the Dublin library to see the 16 businesses that are participating in this trick or treat event. Pets are welcome too!
A bit of a drive (but worth it!)
Haunted Wagon Rides at Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs (Friday and Saturday nights in October- 7:30 -10 pm) It’s designed for families with children but they do aim for “scary fun”.
