If you’re like me, I get excited when I’m waiting for a package and even more excited when a surprise package arrives. My kids receive a few magazine subscriptions as gifts from grandparents and we all look forward to reading them when they arrive. I’ve gathered a list of monthly subscription ideas perfect for kids. These make great gifts!

‘Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving by: Dav Pilkey
The classic Christmas poem has been adapted to get you in the Thanksgiving spirit. It’s an entertaining book with humor, great pictures and causes you to think about the turkey’s perspective at Thanksgiving.
I love when I have a learning activity in mind and my kids are so engaged that they take it even further. As a bonus, these literacy activities using craft sticks were SUPER easy and low key to prepare. Isn’t that every parents’ dream??!!!

I love ALL things Halloween related and Trunk or Treating is one of my newest obsessions. I was in such awe of all the creatively decorated vehicles and costumes we visited last year. I had as much fun as my kiddos! 🙂
- For the Trunk or Treat events children come dressed in costume and walk around to different decorated parked cars to collect candy. Such fun!

What Can YOU Do To Help?
The concept is simple…. collect new socks to donate to a local shelter.
